The Maia Singers sang at the first Advent Carol Service held at St Mary’s in the Marketplace in Stockport on 27th November 2011. In between the readings and congregational hymns of the service, we sang a selection of carols especially chosen for this time of the year. The service was held in candlelight to produce a very atmospheric evening and a very special way to start the Christmas season.
