We are always on the look out for new singers.
Singing is really good for your physical and mental health and is a great way to make new friends and perform choral music to appreciative audiences.
We are particularly eager to involve young singers in our activities and we may be able to offer free or discounted membership.
If you are interested in joining The Maia Singers, please use our Contact Us form, giving details of which part you sing, and any previous singing experience. You will be made very welcome at one of our Monday evening rehearsals.
Rehearsals are held on Monday evenings during term time from 7:30pm to 9:30pm at Stockport Sunday School, Nangreave Road, Stockport (directions).
Prospective members are always interested in the type of music that we sing. Well, where do we begin. We are renowned for the range of styles that we perform in our concerts and have performed music by composers from Bach to the Beatles, Sondheim to Saint Saéns, including Elton John and Henry Viii.
